HOW TO BE ECUMENICAL TODAY
AS THE THIRD MILLENNIUM APPROACHES, there is a renewed interest in ecumenism. It is, however, not the same as the interest that was so high in the late Sixties and Seventies. Then the main focus was church unity and the new progress the churches were making as a result of ecumenical dialogues. Now the focus is more on common witness to Christ as we celebrate the 2,000th anniversary of his birth. That means that cooperative ecumenism is to the fore.
We therefore offer this book on cooperative ecumenism. Our intention is to offer practical help to Christians already engaged in cooperative ecumenism. How do we cooperate with Christians in other churches when we are trying to advance the cause of Christ?
